Question ID: 711846
I have a Magnavox Magnaphone mx2020p The unit is complete and fully
functioning it has a hard rolling travel case with it. The unit is
fully functional but I am not able to test whether or not it can
communicate with a satellite as I do not have the service required.
The unit originally retailed for around 35-50 thousand dollars. I
would like to sell the one I have and I am not sure who would be
interested in buying it. I need someone to do the leg work and find
what the unit is realistically worth and track down interested buyers.
Thank you for your time.

Also ebay is a last resort. I do not feel that ebay is a viable
option because those interested if there are any interested parties
will not be looking on ebay for this type of item.
Thanks

Well someone's selling one for 3,300 Canadian dollars at
http://www.testequipmentcanada.com/Magnavox%20mx2020p.html Also,
MX2020's do seem to be marketed on eBay. By the way, if you really
think that your Magnaphone has a value in the region of the 30 to 35
thousand dollars you mention, isn't $30 dollars for finding potential
buyers a little cheap?

I have no intention of selling the unit for 30-50thousand dollars, I
would expect no more than 5000. I have contacted the canadian company
and they are having a very difficult time selling their unit, as well
as the individual that is selling their unit on ebay.
