Dear fortunaenterprises,

These are the results of my research:

--- The Company ---

According to the database of the Tennessee Secretary of State [1],
Essex Technology Group Inc. was formed on 16 June 2000. They are still
registered as an active company, with their I.D. number being 0391196.
The address of their current prinicipal office, as filed with the
Secretary of State, is:

2728 Eugenia Avenue
Suite 106
Nasville, TN 37211-2120

Their current registered agent, as listed in the business record, is:

Taylor B. Mayes, Esq.
150 4th Ave. North
Nashville, TN 37219

I found out that Mr. Mayes is a member of the law firm Miller & Martin
[2]. In case you'd like to contact him, here is full contact
information:

Miller & Martin PLLC
c/o Taylor B. Mayes

--- The Warehouse ---

Information provided by Essex Technology in their old user profile at
Ebay [3] says the following about the location of their warehouse:

"Pickups can be made at our warehouse at:

Essex Technology Group
2728 Eugenia Ave
Nashville, TN 37211"

The address is confirmed through a July 2005 newspaper article [6]:
"...head over to Essex Retail Outlet, at 2728 Eugenia [...] Chris Loy,
who manages the 3,000-square-foot maze of a store, which is jammed
into some outdated office space..."

I used the database of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and
Davidson County [4] to find out more about that property, how it is
used and by whom. The main results are:

- The building at 2728 Eugenia Avenue in Nashville is a huge
commercial structure registered in the zoning category "Industrial,
Warehousing/Distribution".

- The building is property of Colonial Realty Co.

- Essex Technology has indeed been one of the tenants of that
building. The Permit History lists several construction permits
granted to them in 2004.

The company owning the warehouse building, Colonial Realty, is part of
C. B. Ragland Company. On their website [5], they have a brochure
about the building for download (PDF file). The photos in the brochure
show various parts of the building during its use by Essex Technology.
On two photos, the Essex Technology logo is clearly visible. A ground
plan is also included. The brochure provides a good impression of what
the Essex warehouse looks like:

--- Contact Information for former Managers/Employees ---

An article in The Tennessean from 21 July 2005 [6] lists the names of
the founders of Essex Technology:

"The Essex Technology Group was originally founded as a
computer-liquidation company in 2000 by a group of young local
entrepreneurs (Robert Echols, Eric Crawford, Peter Adams, Neal
Barnhill and Peter Marcum) chaired by Nashville businessman Phil
Pfeffer."

A 2006 contacts list of Essex Technology executives [7] lists Peter
Marcum as the Chairman.

Peter Marcum is now CEO of Wilhagan Ventures [8] and Chairman and CEO
of WVFiber [9] in Nashville. His business e-mail address is:
peter@wilhaganventures.com

I hope that this information will be useful for you!

hi
the specs that you gave me are for their retial store, what i was
inquiring about is their ebay warehouse layout, there is nothing in
the answer specifiying the layout of the warehouse.
thank you

I must admit that I do not really understand your request. Do you have
the impression that the Essex Retail Outlet is somehow another
location than their warehouse, or that they maintained a warehouse
other than the one they used for retail sales - having a separate one
for eBay sales?

If that is the case, what makes you believe so and what exactly would
you like to know?

hi
yes they did have a seprate operation for ebay that was about 100000sq
feet by itself, the retail was a seprate operation, that was indicated
in their websie before they were kicked out of ebay.
what i need to know is how was the ebay warehouse layed out, each
department, the flow...etc, the only way for you to know that is by
asking a former employee, because the ceo will never give yo those
info.
i'm ready to pay more for those info, because what you gave me i already know
