how much weight can a skateboard hold? my brother wants a skateboard
so he can skate to class but he is 300 pounds over weight because he
is a football player. Im afraid that he might break the board if i buy
him one. If there is one that can hold his weight which brand is the
best!

My son, who is an accomplished skater (sponsored, etc) says that a
Sector 9 longboard would be the way to go.

Any of the well known brands such as element, Darkstar, shortys should
hold up pretty well under heavy weights. I've seen skateboards
advertised that are able to withstand being run over with a car. As
long as he isn't doing tricks you should be ok. Unfortunately the more
money you pay the longer the board is going to last.
