I am looking for the name of an episode of the Looney Tunes where a
classic door gag is used. In this gag a character opens up a door and
there is another door immediately behind it, they open that door and
there is another door. This is repeated several times until the gag
wares off and then they move on. Note: I am not looking for what is
called the ?Freling Door Gag? where characters chase each other in and
out of several doors. I am only interested in the multiple layered
doors that reveal another door right behind them. I am primarily
interested in the Looney Tunes but if people can point me to its use
in other cartoons this is useful as well.

I believe the gag was featured in one of the Bugs Bunny cartoons
featuring the unnamed red, hairy, sneaker-wearing monster (who, in
later shorts, would become known as "Gossamer"). Two of the features I
had in mind are the Chuck Jones shorts:

"Hair Raising Hare" Merrie Melodie(1946)

"Water, Water Every Hare" Looney Tune(1952)

Please let me know if these turn out to be the ones you are after.

I took a look at both "Hair Raising Hare" and "Water, Water Every
Hare" and the gag is not in either of them.

Sorry. Oh well, maybe someone else will remember one of cartoons you had in mind.

Try the Droopy cartoon where Droopy is a Canadian Mountie chasing an
escaped prisoner (the Wolf). I'm fairly sure the door gag is used in
this - along with nearly very other iconic cartoon gag in the Loony
Tunes repertoire.

What a interesting question. I grew up on Looney Toons. After I read
your question I vaguely remember Bugs with Sam in the desert. I had
to search myself and found it.

Sahara Hare (1955)

I can't find the other one. I remember seeing Bugs nailing the doors together.
