There is a painter Renaldo Bellini who is a 4th dimension artist. I cannot find any information on him at all. Is there somewhere I can look or can you direct me to a location on the net for information? My employer was asked to finance his work worth millions of dollars. |

The good news: he has his own website. The bad news: it is no longer functioning. Using the Wayback Machine internet archive, it is possible to see part of his website, but not the contact page: http://web.archive.org/web/20001204182800/http://www.renaldobellini.com/ A contact email given on the site is sognoart@hotmail.com, which appears to be valid. The domain renaldobellini.com is owned by: Rose Productions / Bellini, Renaldo renaldo@OC-NET.COM 27660 Marguerite Parkway, Ste. C273 Mission Viejo , CA 92690 800-362-6906 http://www.searchenginez.com/cgi-bin/acewhois.cgi?fqdn=renaldobellini&select=.com&submit2=Whois+search The address is a mail-drop: http://www.bnl.com/cgi-bin/mpsd/htgrep.cgi?92692 And OC-NET are/were his website designers: http://members.oc-net.com/portfolio.asp The website was also mirrored at sognoproductions.com, owned by: Alpine Diversified Companies, Inc. New accounts division P. O. Box 19045 Anaheim, CA 92817 US Phone: 714-637-5156 Email: labizmail@aol.com http://www.searchenginez.com/cgi-bin/acewhois.cgi?fqdn=sognoproductions&tld=.com And that's where the trail ends.... |

I would be most interested to know what Mr. Bellini is referring to when he calls himself a "4th Dimension" artist. It is my understanding that after the three standard dimensions of length, width, and depth (or width, height, and depth), the generally accepted definition of the 4th Dimension is Time, or Duration. I would love to see exactly what aspect of his works he claims involves the 4th Dimension (other than the fact that his works continue to exist once he creates them), and how that is different from the work of any other artist. I did find an artist's website which refers to the 4th Dimension: "However, they also pay tribute to the fourth dimension inherent in their three-dimensional works: that of community and shared creativity." (http://www.gracehudsonmuseum.org/events_archive2.html). I don't know if Mr. Bellini is making reference to this concept. I realize that an artist may use unusual words to try to make their work stand out from others, but I have to wonder why Mr. Bellini would choose to use something that, if he said it to me, would make me (for one) laugh in his face. My take on this is that your boss has been given an invitation to be taken for a ride. My purely subjective opinion is that your boss should decline and opt to drive his own vehicle. Good Luck! |

If your employer has been asked to finance this artist's work "worth millions of dollars" without knowing anything about the artist, perhaps the 4th Dimension spoken of is the limitless dimension of Hype. ;-) |
