In the fall 1985 I was studying abroad in Italy. There was a music
video playing everywhere. All I remember about it was the drummer for
the Rolling stones was drumming in the video.

Hello gettnerman-ga,

Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts performed with a band called
Willie and the Poor Boys in 1985.  They recorded a concert video,
which is available on DVD.  The songs are also available on CD. I
haven't been able to find any video clips from the DVD or determine
which song or songs were made into music videos.  You can listen to
clips from the songs at Amazon.com.

Is it possible that it was a Willie and the Poor Boys video that you remember?
