Why do programs that I download not work? In the last few months, all
the programs that I download online do not open. For example, iTunes
used to work and when I updated it, it does not open, but when I go to
turn off my Windows, there is a box requesting me to end the iTunes
program. Today, the same thing happened to my Google Maps. It worked
fine and after installing the recent upgrade, it now acts as the
iTunes acted. I also recently downloaded Trillion for the first time,
and it does the same thing. I have a Sony Vaio, Windows XP and I use
Internet Explorer as my browser.

Might be a pop-up blocker that's interfering with these programs.

If you have one that's active, turn it off temporarily, and give the
programs another try.
