Help, please. MS Word 2003 - all of a sudden copy icon has restriction on it - and I can't copy/paste at all ... can someone please help me undo whatever has happened in plain, not MS speak? thanks, ever-so... Barbara | |

Until you get the Icon sorted, there are alternative ways of doing copy/paste. 1: You can use the Control Keys: Ctrl+C (to copy) and Ctrl+V (to paste). 2: You can also use copy and paste functions from the Edit Menu. Go on ... have a go! Bryan |

Also, you can highlight a word (for example) and then Right Click on your mouse to copy. A second Right Click allows you to paste. So ... Who needs icons? |

It might be that the document has had restrictions placed on it by the author. It's unlikely but stranger things have happened. |
