What is this man's name and what are the names and dates of at least 1
publications where the words he allegedly used are quoted?
Sometime during 1991 through 1993, a high ranking white college
administrator, renowned for his support of affirmative action,
reportedly stated that minorities deserved special treatment because
they were incapable otherwise (or something to that effect). On his
radio show, Rush Limbaugh complained that the man was not "crucified"
as a coservative would, and that the media failed to give the incident
wide coverage.

I searched newspaper articles and TV transcripts for [ limbaugh and
affirmative and crucif* ] (to pick up 'crucify', 'crucified', etc) but
did not find anything resembling your description.

Closest I came was:

"...At the White House Correspondents' Dinner, Bill Clinton made an
incredibly racist remark, saying that Rush Limbaugh, a conservative
talk radio host (described by your paper as a "behemoth"), only
defended Attorney General Janet Reno because "she was attacked by a
black guy."...Your paper's response? An article insinuating that the
only reason the "joke" fell flat was because Washington has no sense
of humor {"A Gaffe a Minute," Style, May 5}. What hypocrisy. When
Republicans recently made a joke about gays, your paper was quick to
blast them and print numerous outraged responses from the gay
community. I saw no "Can't-you-take-a-joke?" articles then. A racist
comment is a racist comment, no matter what political affiliation you
may have..."

Are you sure about the details you provided? Was the word "crucified"
definitely part of the story? Sure it was Rush? Was affirmative
action definitely the topic?

Let me know what you think.

Limbaugh did not use those exact words. I do not know the exact
words, only the date range.
