I want to be able to manually activate my screensaver. I want something far more elegant than, "create a shortcut to your screensaver and then assign a hotkey." I have no interest in this. I have no icons on my desktop besides the recycle bin. I want to keep it that way. I am also aware of the ability to hide the icon from view - like i said i want something more elegant. I'm looking for a shortcut that activates the screensaver in the same way the system activates it when the allotted time has expired. There are hotkeys for logging off and other things, so I feel there should be some way to activate the screensaver in a similar manner. | |

If you read the question, they are asking how to activate the screen saver without any action on the part of the user, but not by waiting for the timer to kick in. I guess the best answer would be to find a computer than can telepathically read your mind and know when you want the screen saver to activate. |
