According to Google, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology
currently has 974 professors on its faculty. (Search for
[massachusetts institute of technology faculty size].) I want to know
how many faculty members there were in 1966. A figure for a year in
the early 1960s would be ok. A table or graph showing the trend over the
past 40 years would be super.
