I've noticed a few sites to download movies and stuff to your ipod
examples of the sites are below. My question is are these sites
operating within the law? (Explain Why) Also, are the sites violating
any trademarks with ipod by using the ipod name within there domain
name? I thought it was only legal to download stuff from itunes to
your ipod. These sites offer stuff like movie downloads, music, tv
shows, etc.

I've noticed these
sites are using file sharing technology for the user to download the
movies and music to the users computer and then I guess the user can
download that into there ipod. I'm assuming the legitimate companies
have a different process of doing this, is that correct? Also, Is file
sharing legal? On there disclaimer it says purchasing a membership
does not give you a license to download and distribute copyrighted
material. Yet the site is clearly saying the user can download movies,
music, etc.
