Hello,

I need help recovering a HFS+ formatted drive on my Mac OS 10.4.5
computer. Its an external drive, so thankfully I can continue working
on other things while I'm trying to figure out how to recover the
drive.

So far... I've tried DiskWarrior 3.0.3, which is failing with error:

The directory of the disk "Lyon" cannot be rebuilt.
The original directory is too damaged.
The disk was not modified ( 2155, 2207).

I tried running fsck_hfs -----

MediaSurf:~ mediasurf$ sudo fsck_hfs -rfd /dev/disk0s2
Password:
** /dev/rdisk0s2
Block number 390719014 is not embedded alternate volume header
Block number 29866 is not embedded primary volume header
Block number 390719014 is not embedded alternate volume header
Block number 29866 is not embedded primary volume header
IVChk - bad volume header - err 0
   Invalid Volume Header
(1, 0)
** Volume check failed.
volume check failed with error 7
        volume type is HFS
primary MDB is at block 2 0x02
alternate MDB is at block 390721894 0x1749f166
primary VHB is at block 29866 0x74aa
alternate VHB is at block 0 0x00
        sector size = 512 0x200
        VolumeObject flags = 0x19
        total sectors for volume = 390721896 0x1749f168
total sectors for embedded volume = 0 0x00

If someone can help me recover my drive, I would be VERY thankful and
will gladly pay for the assistance!
