I'm going on a first date Saturday in Concord, NH. Zagat doesn't reach out that far. I'm looking for a list, written by the answerer, of 10-15 "things to do" in Concord - museums, fun retail/food shops, city walks, coffeeshops, or non-chain, vegetarian-friendly restaurants. Including hours, addresses, phone and price, where applicable. If there are ticketed events that happen to fall on April 1 as well, then great. For ticket events, no size is too small - a school play is fine. An answer by 5:00pm ET today gets bonus points! |

Hello katten, I thought I'd direct you towards the following site: http://www.ci.concord.nh.us/. It's the official site of the City of Concord, New Hampshire. Roll over the "Visitors" link on the left menu and you will have a variety of options to choose from, including Attractions and Restaurances. More contact details can be found within. Enjoy the date! Regards, PoliticalOyster |

Thanks for the tip; it gives me a chance to clarify my question. I found that website but I'm looking for subjective descriptions of places - atmosphere, comparisons to other places. Perhaps I could phrase it like this: imagine I came to visit my friend from out of town, and my friend had to work, leaving me with free time from 9-5 to explore the city. I'd say to my friend, "where's good to go to?" and my friend would say "well, if you want ice cream, place X is better than Y. You wouldn't know it but the elementary school does a play every week, and they're really cute. And there are two italian restaurants - both are good, but this one's dark-n-fancy, while that one's light-n-airy." That's the kind of thing I'm looking for. |

It does help! Subjective is fine, given the parameters of the question. |
