Q1) I'm trying to figure out how to enter the information from a W2C
into my tax returns.. I received 2 W2Cs from my employer, with
corrected social security and medicare witholding information. There
is no correction to wages (item 1), so I suppose this is why they have
left this blank in the W2C. My question is when I get to the W2C part
of my tax returns, what do I need to enter for wages? Do i leave it
blank as per the W2C, or do I need to enter the wage amount from the
original W2?

Q2) Would entering the wrong W2 or W2C information, specifically the
dollar amounts, cause delays or rejection of the tax return? Or is
this something that the IRS is able to reconcile behind-the-scenes?

This is the first year that I'm doing my own tax returns, and I'm sure
these questions seem trivial to many. Would appreciate a to-the-point
responses to my
questions.

Fyi - I'm doing an efile using turbotax.
