In *GNOME* (standard UI for redhat linux), I'd like to be able to type
"btw[space]" and then have a *background* program replace it with "by
the way".

So, let's say I was writing an email in firefox in yahoo email, rather
than having to typing "by the way" I could just type "btw[space]" and
it would replace it with "by the way".

A program like this exists for windows, at http://www.autohotkey.com
Super handy, but I need something for my linux box..

Thanks!
