If an hunting knife is made out 440C stainless steel (RC 58) And considering the strength of this steel for the knife edge, what is the thinnest blade edge retaining its RC 58 sharpness and integrity inch and MM Would the 440c knife edge ever need to be re-sharpened? |

I don't really understand your question: "what is the thinnest blade edge retaining its RC 58 sharpness and integrity inch and MM?" The edge of the blade is obviously going to be extremely thin. Are you asking about the thinness of the rest of the blade? Perhaps this site will give you some information about 440C steel. "Knife Steel" starts immediately when you scroll down.
