I have a camel colored unfinished or nubuck leather couch that has
various small stains (ink, nail polish, candle wax, spilled drinks or
food items) all over it. I cannot find any definite answers on what
can be done to restore it? In internet searches, I have come across
contradictary information on whether or not it can be salvaged by
professional cleaning and/or dying. And the only two companys that I
have managed to locate in my Washington, DC Metro area have not
treturned my calls (and the receptionist at one of them made it sound
like there wasn't anything to be done). So CAN it be restored through
cleaning or dying or not? If so, who is a service provider in my area
that can do this? And what kind of costs might be associated with
either professional cleaning or dying if it can indeed be done?
