I have an mp3 file and i need to convert it to .mid file so that I can
play it on my cell phone (nokia 7260). Can you please let me know of
any free harmless software on the web which can do this conversion ?
  My cell does not supports mp3 hence, i want to perform this conversion.

Hi Rainbow,
    The site which you have mentioned has some softwares, but these
softwares convert it to .wav format and the converted format looses a
lot of detail from the original mp3. It looses the stereo effect and
becomes mono effect.

Hi politicalguru, 
  The link given by rainbow also has the same software. I tried it
there. This sacrifices a lot of clarity and beats while converting
from mp3 to mid file.
