Question ID: 713654
the corporate IT director (at my job) recently sent the following email.

"We are currently experiencing very high CPU utilization on our portal
DB server. There is also approximately 9 minutes of latency between
the CVue transactional server and the portal DB.

A number of users have reported slow response time when using the portals.

Also, CEOCIT will be applying a hotfix to CampusVUE LIVE tomorrow
3/29/2006 to fix an issue with Schedule Courses - Edit Detail is not
saving the correct duration. Therefore, CampusVUE, ImageNow, FLASH
Report, and eFlash applications will be unavailable from 11 PM CST
Wednesday March 29th until 2 AM CST Thursday March 30th."

I think you certainly have cause for alarm if you have a senior
executive who is stupid enough to send out emails so loaded with
jargon and technical terms that many of his staff will find them
incomprehensible.
