I am working on a business plan. I expect my company will grow
through various stages of revenue going forward. It is my opinion
that as my company grows I will become a candidate for acquisition by
larger and larger companies. I would like to be able to provide
examples of this happening to validate the opinion. So what I am
looking for is a list of examples of acquisitions, that would include
the date of acquisition, the acquiring company, the target company,
the acquisition price, the revenues of the target company for the year
prior to the acquisition, and the EBIDTA of the target company for the
year prior to acquisition. The examples target companies should come
from the entertainment technology sector (tool companies that provide
hardware, software, services to movie, TV, video game companies). I
would like examples for 3 revenue categories: when the target company
revenues are below $15M, $15M ? $30M, and $30M - $75M. These are
rough boundaries.

Compensation. One set of examples for the entertainment sector, 1
example in each of 3 revenue categories, $150. Each additional
example $10, with a max of 3 examples in each of 3 revenue categories,
for a total in the entertainment sector of $210 max. I will add the
additional examples as ?tips?.

I am posting the exact same question with a different industry sector,
visualization/simulation for a separate question/answer, same terms,
under ?Examples of Acquisitions in Visualization/Simulation?.
