Hi, I do not see anything called a Saab SL for 1996. For all the other Saabs listed, the 900, and 9000 with 4 cyl or 6 turbo & non. The fuel filter is located on the passenger side (right side) of the car, on the gas tank ahead of the right rear wheel. At the forward part of the tank. Should be easy to see if you follow the fuel lines. If you have a new filter so you can see what it looks like. GET A SERVICE MANUAL before trying to change it. The system is pressurized and LOTS of gas can spray out while changing this if you are not aware of proper procedures to relieve fuel pressure. |
