I am a proprietary equity trader in New York and would like to know
what it might be like to trade capital markets or look for trading
jobs in Bangkok, Thailand. Not limited to equities; open to any kind
of instrument including fixed income, FX and derivatives of any sort.

An answer to this might include:

- Names of exchanges and what is traded on them (not just asset
classes but specific instruments)
- Volume/liquidity statistics for exchanges (stock, futures, etc.)
- Growth of trading activity in the past 3-5 years
- Current state of electronic trading capabilities on the exchange(s)
- Which foreign investment firms have a big presence, including
investment banks, hedge funds, etc.
- Challenges/advantages to expect as an expat trying to enter the markets
- Any pending plans for further development of the capital markets
- Anything else that would help me get a picture of the opportunities
available as an American trader in Bangkok

Thanks!
