Hi Miguel,

The comment from bildy is right on.

What may be happening is that different versions of Internet Explorer
handle FTP sites in different ways. If the address
ftp://ftp.communication.y2marketing.com does not work, try simply
entering ftp.communication.y2marketing.com .

The site you are trying to access is actually not a world wide web
site. The world wide web uses HTTP, which stands for Hyper Text
Transfer Protocol. You are using HTTP right now to view this page.
FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol, and an FTP site will allow you
to upload and download files, given that you have the correct
permissions.

Here is the definition of FTP:
http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/F/FTP.html

... and the difference between FTP and HTTP:
http://www.webopedia.com/DidYouKnow/Internet/2002/FTP_HTTP.asp

In order to access this FTP site, you may need a user name and
password. But some FTP sites allow you to logon anonymously.

If you still have trouble accessing the FTP site via Internet
Explorer, you may want to try out a specialized FTP program. Here are
a couple of good ones I've used in the past:

WS_FTP:
http://www.ipswitch.com

CuteFTP:
http://www.cuteftp.com

More FTP programs are listed at:
http://directory.google.com/Top/Computers/Software/Internet/Clients/FTP/?tc=1

Good luck!

typing only the following, minus the quotes of course, should do the
trick: "ftp.communication.y2marketing.com" In other words, just
leave off th ftp://

Hope this helps, Bildy
