I have a iMac OS X version 10.4.5 256 MB DDR SDRAM. When I was a
stockbroker, I used a PC. By entering a formula in the cells of my
excel spreeadsheets, I was able to get current (or slightly delayed)
last prices of stocks, various market indices, mutual funds as well as
the 50 day and 200 day moving average levels to populate my cells
thereby enabling me to view my various portfolios and the various
indicators on a current value basis. My firm subscribed to Reuters and
Bloomberg. Now that i am retired I need to do this at home. In
addition to these two "institutional" service providers,
which service providers provide this service to individual investors
who are using an iMac?
and what portfolio analytic iMac compatible software is recommended to be able to
automatically download this current data into cells which can include
formulas to generate dynamically updated formula driven indicators?
