I need to acquire maps of New York and Ohio. I'm looking for
camera-ready maps of the states, with no county lines, no rivers or
lakes, no cities. Just the state maps with a black outline, preferably
both with the same design, so they look like they were taken from the
same source.

Looking for a few extra bucks? Find me a map of Scotland as well.

These maps are for use in a self-published book with a maximum
distribution of 200 copies.

I'd also like a map of Wisconsin. Same specs.

Hi vercingatorix,

Are these suitable?

Click on the name of the state you want to view, which will take you
to the outline map.
Then, right-click on the image and choose "Save image as".
If you use any of these images, all I ask is that you sign my
guestbook located on my main page. Thank you!

Hi vercingatorix,

After searching many websites again today, I think that the websites
that I posted last night in my Clarification Request are the best
available. There are other maps available, but only for educational
purposes. Following you will find links to blank outline maps for each
of the U.S. States and Scotland.

Click on the name of the state you want to view, which will take you
to the outline map.
Then, right-click on the image and choose "Save image as".

I hope these are just what you are looking for. If not, or if you have
any questions, please post a clarification request and wait for me to
respond before closing/rating my answer.

Thank you,
hummer

Thanks, hummer. I apologize for the delay, but the e-mail notification
never came through.

The Scotland map is fine, but I need bigger state maps, roughly twice
the size of the ones you found. Stylistically, they're fine. Just not
big enough. They pixelized when I tried to expand them, as I expected
they would.

Can you find me some larger maps of the same type? If they're your
maps, which it sounds as if they are, can you enlarge them using your
own software and repost them? If so, I'll be very happy with your
answer, providing a generous tip and a top rating.

Hi vercingatorix,

Yes, I hope the editors fix the email notifications soon, we really need them.

No, they are not my maps. The difficulty is finding maps which can be
used for purposes other than educational and classroom use. The
50states website has the size you need but unfortunately the state
capital is marked with a star and there are some dots as well. Would
you be able to remove them?

I've not been able to find any reference in regards to permissions. If
the maps are ok for you, you'll need to contact 50states and explain
exactly what you want to use them for.

Will look forward to hearing if they are suitable.
