I have a Suzuki RF600 Motorbike and one of the coils has stopped
working correctly (poor Ohms reading). I have searched for the parts
second-hand and have been offered some but, as this is a fairly
unusual bike in the UK the prices asked are premium.

I think that the coils on the GSF 600 Bandit are the same but, I
cannot find the part numbers or spec on the internet anywhere to
compare - I did find the part numbers for the RF-600 though:
334100-21E00 (Primary Coil resistance: 2.4-3.2 Ohms, Secondary Coil
resistance: 30-40 k-Ohms).

Can someone tell me what other Bikes have compatible coils so that I
can search for an alternative? Please be very sure as I know of a case
where the wrong coils were used at the expense of the expensive
ignitor unit (ECU).

Kind regards

Daniel

You can replace the ignition system with a Dyna 2000 Digital Ignition Kit --
