hi.. I m vishal makwana (student information technology). I have many new kinds of ideas with me in I.T sector which i would like to patent and so that i can get into bussiness . Is is possible to patent and idea without implementing it.? what are the procedures.? where can i find this types of patents.? I want to know about the patents of ideas in dotcom sectors. In short everything and anything about this kind of patents. Hope to get a satisfactry reply.. thankyou. |

If you are talking about US patents, the answer to one of your questions is, yes, it is possible to patent an idea without implementing it, but any patent will cost you a great deal of money, since you will likely have to hire a lawyer to help you write and prosecute the patent. Read the pattents at the local library Look for a tutorial on the internet. Do a literature search for published prior art. |
