Hello! I need to get my vehicle, a 1995 Toyota Celica, registered in
Hillsborough County, Florida. I recently moed here from lexington,
Kentucky. The tags are WAY expired. The problem is, the vehicle is
registered in Kentucky, and still in my parents name. They live in
Florida as well. I am overnighting them my title so that they can
signt he back of it and overnight it back to me. Then I will sign it.
Is thi all I need to do to have the car transferred to my name? Then
do I need to just take my Florida Drivers license, my proof of
insurance and this signed title to the DMV? Is this all I need to do
or are there other forms I need to fill out? Approximately how much
will this cost? I jst don't want to get there, and then not have all
of hte necessary forms filled out, because I really need to get my car
registered SOON. Any and all relevant information will be greatly
appreciated.
