Hi,

I need to connect to a Windows XP Pro machine on a network and using
Terminal Services / Remote Desktop Sharing and then logon through that
to a domain using the 'Log on using dial-up connection' option.

When I am physically at the computer the 'Log on using dial-up
connection' option is available.

However when I logon to that computer through Terminal Services the
option 'Log on using dial-up connection' is not available (or even
visible).

This leaves me with the option of logging on the machine locally
through the remote desktop connection and then manually using the dial
up connection. However this does not work for the domain I am trying
to connect to.

So the question is, how can get the 'Log on using dial-up
connection' option available for logon through Remote Desktop Connection??

cheers,

MD

That is to say I need to use 'Log on using dial-up connection' option
when connected (through a network) to the logon screen of a remote
computer through Terminal Services

I am sorry I don't have your answer, however I will compliment you and
a very well written question. Very precise and clear what you need to
know. So many people attempt to ask a question, yet the wording is so
poor you cna't really determin what it is they are asking. Hope you
receive an answer!
