I have an old Power Macintosh 7600, and a Nikon LS-8000 scanner. I
would like to use this Mac as a dedicated scanning station. The Mac
presently has 64M of memory. I know that I would need more memory for
the Mac - I guess 512M, maybe more - and the LS-8000 has Firewire only,
so I would need to add Firewire to the Macintosh, which has SCSI only.
Also, would I need to upgrade the Mac to MacOS 9?

My question is: is this possible, and what exact components would I
need to do it? I am in the UK.

Thanks!
