rooting around in the music library last night, listenin' to Van's outrageous cover and it made me wonder about the song, "It's All in the Game." I found this tidbit on Song Facts: The only #1 hit ever written by a US Vice President. It was composed in 1912 as "Melody in A Major" by then-banker Charles Gates Dawes, who became VP under Calvin Coolidge in 1925. http://www.songfacts.com/detail.php?id=2145 could you find me all the cover artists for this song from the mid-60's forward. I'm hoping for at least 10 (but whatever you can find is fine). thank you much! Gß |
