What does error msg boot disk failure mean? does it always mean hard drive failure or is there other causes? I get it once in awhile but just restart computer and it works okay. | |

Hi Glen, I would backup any crucial data you have on there in case your drive fails and be prepared to get another one if/when it does. If you live in the US, I would purchase from Newegg http://www.newegg.com/ If you live in the UK, I would purchase from ebuyer: http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/home/ Here's some more detailed information about the error you're experiencing: Error with Hard Disk http://www.pcguide.com/ts/x/sys/booterrGBER21-c.html It could also mean that your IDE/SATA cable is a bit loose. Please let me know if you need any more information. Thanks. endo |
