mY settings are not coreect.

I am using MS OUTLOOK. When receiving a EMAIL with a embeded
hyperlink, I click on the link it opens my local computer
rather than the web page. I would like it to default to
Internet explorer. That would include hyperlinks in Word DOC as
well

Thanks

Hi screampass,

Try this:

In IE, click Tools / Internet Options / Programs / Reset Web Settings

If that doesn't work:

Go to Windows Explorer
Tools / Folder options / File types / Scroll and select "HTML" extension.

In box: "Details for HTML extension " should state that it opens with IE.

Click on "Advanced" and verify that default action is open" (bolded).
If not, click "Change" and select IE.

How's that?
