Japanese occupation - historical dislike - especially revisionist school books

Taiwan <-> Japan relations very strong

Japanese investment in China - a lot of it

Taiwan involvement with PRC - like Hong Kong - historical sales offices

Very little stops people doing business when it is mutually profitable.
