I've burned many CD's from my library in Windows Media Player 10.
Now when I click "BURN" the word "INSPECTING" appears against the
first title track and stays there, nothing else happening. In the past
all the titles greyed out and a bar ran down them burning each title
to my disk.

How old is the CD-R? Can you trade out with a borrowed working one,
and test the process that way?
