I am looking for factual information re: history of the laborers who were involved in constructing the U.S. - Mexico border wall. Interested in who they were / are. Interested in the technologies (barbed wire...cement....steel). Interested in communties (families...) which directly benefitted from this wall construction industry. thank you, Margo Tamez |

Apache, that is certainly one of the most interesting questions I have seen in some time, though I certainly cannot help you. I really don't understand which wall you refer to, since there are a number of places between US and Mexico that have walls, and I had always assumed they were different projects. By the way, a few months ago, I heard on Fox News via satellite in my friend's hospital in Mexico they were talking about making another wall, in the Arizona area. The Doctor laughed and laughed, and said, "You can be sure it will be built mostly using illegal workers." I thought that was funny, too. |
