Question ID: 716701
federal job benefits compared to california state job benefits - which
are better and why? FERS vs. CalPers? I noticed some federal jobs will
pay for my existing college tuition loan - that's a big plus for me. I
am an
experienced legal assistant/secretary and I'm trying to decide which
would be better to get a job with - a local federal agency or a
California state agency.
Do you have any suggestions as to the best federal agency (or Calif
state agency if their benefits are just as good as federal)?

Hi eams,

I found two resources for you to use to compare the benefits. One is a
list of Federal Employee Benefits, the other is a list of State of CA
employee benefits. You can peruse the lists and select the best fit
for you. You know your needs, and the selection is amazing!
