Hi!

I am an owner of translation web-site, primarily making translation
only from English language. We made a SEO for our site and as a result
of it we have a lot of visitors every day. But the conversion rate
from visitors to customers is very slow, less than 1-3 customers per
week.

So I would like some expert to

Review and proofread my web-site (www.ifstudio-translations.com).

This review should also cover the following questions:

1. What should we add to the site to attract prospects?
2. What should we change on our site?
3. Is it looks professional?
4. Is our web site easy to navigate and well structured?
5. Appears to have the information they are looking for.
6. How can we improve the path a prospect takes through the site, in
order to make the initial contact easier?
7. Suggestions on layout, navigation, color, logo, graphics, copy,
information provided, information missing, would be welcome

Any other suggestion you may have also would be welcome.

Thank you

lvivborned-ga,
I am acutally a pretty good person to respond to your request and I do
so for FREE! I just like helping people. Since I live in France (I'm
American) and own a small business here and export to Germany and the
USA, I would like to expert to other countries as well, I do have a
need for translation services.

After looking at your site I offer you these observations-
Load Time -Don't know why but your site hesitatied just a few seconds
longer than I thought it should have. It was acceptable but a bit
slower than I would have liked.

Looks Professional

Like having the prices show up right away on the top. Hate it when you
go to a website for information ans they wo't even tell you theri
prices until you contact them.

First thought on pricing was why the difference between personal and
business correspondence. That set off alarm bells. Like what, are they
doing a sloppy job on personal correspondence at 3 cents a word but if
you pay more for Business Correspondence you get a better translation?
To me it seems like there should be one price for Correspondence, it
is confusing why one would be charged more than the other.

The other thing I would have liked to have seen is some examples. I this area
of your website
Translation areas and prices, per word

 Personal correspondence $0.03
 Business correspondence $0.07
 Agreements $0.08
 Promotional literature $0.09
 Advertising literature $0.09
 Manuals and manuscripts $0.09
 Medicine and health $0.11

Could you put a little icon right after $0.03 and label it, see
example with price. When I clicked on that icon I would open up a .pdf
file and see a two page letter, page 1 would be in English and page 2
would be in the translated langauge. Right up on Top of the letter you
could say this translation is priced at $13.00 (or whatever it is your
price)

For each one of your pricing levels put in a real world example. I
would click on those and use those more than I would use the Request
free
Russian / Spanish / French / German or Ukrainian translation feature.
Although I do think that is a good feature and I would keep it, I
would just add my icon idea also to the website.

There is no navigtion button to get you back to the home page. That
was rather annoying.

Also I thought that your explination of how long it takes was a dodge.
It was so vague it was actually counter productive. Although I am
impressed that you know how many hours so many words will take etc.
etc. What is better is a few actual facts. Something like - 90% of all
requests are translated within 48hours. All 1 - 5 page requests are
translated within 24 hours or you don't pay. Mention the fact if you
work week-ends and holidays. Are you a 365 day a year operation or
not?

I liked your contact us page. Before I do business with anyone who I
have located over the internet I always look for the Contact Us page
and make sure that there is a physical location for the company and
that there is plenty of contact information.

About our company - This could be a bit meatier, I do like seeing the
photographs, however who are these people? Are they the owners, what
is their background, any stellar academic achievements etc.?

I leave your site only wondering one thing. I can see your pricing
that is right out there nice and clear. The only thing I am left
wondering about is the turn around time.

It would be great to guarantee, 1 - 5 pages received between 9am - 5pm
eastern time will be translated and sent back to you via e-mail within
2 business days. Boom over and done. Now I leave your site and look to
other sites and compare you against others without any questions in my
mind. I know how much you charge and I know how long it will take you.
Y

You have given enough information on your website that I trust that
you are going to do the job well. I automatically figure you have a
good grasp of the language or you wouldn't be offering translation
services.

On second thought somewhere in your pricing, you might just say "One
page typically is $10", and then click on the icon to see the example.

I will be more than happy to let you do a free translation for my
company which you can then use on your website as typical. I could
give you Personal Correspondence, Business Correspondence, and
Advertising that you could tranlate and use on your website as
examples. If you are interested please post back here and I will
contact you at your website contact info.

Again the price difference between personal and business
correspondence really bothers me becasue if I am requesting business
correspondence I can see that I am paying a higher price.

Yurly,
Nice to hear back from you and i am pleased that my comments were of
value. Rather busy on the olive farm at the moment. But will contact
you through your website int he next 2 weeks or so. Actually I am
going to a big show Olive Oil show in Germany in a few weeks and I
really could use some translation for a sign in German for the show.

So exhausted doing the manual work, which I hope is slowing up soon,
look for my contact as roxrox from Google Answers over by you at your
website.
