My website is setting empty cookies for each directory. Example "img/" and the content of the cookie is "n/a" There's one for each directory on my site. and even for subdirectories from where content such as images or js or css is included. This is really annoying. Since it appears that a simple browsing in my site will force over a dozen such cookies. And the result, is that when i try to set my own cookies, sometimes the browser is not able to handle any more, and my cookies are not being set. And cookies are really crucial on my site. I need to know what should be done to make sure such cookies are not set. | |

I have my browser set to ask me before any cookies are written on my computer. I will not visit a website if it requires cookies. I jsut won't do it. there are a few sites I approve of, new York Times, Amazon and a few others but basically I am a "No Cookie" gal. Please consider carefully how you design your website if you are requiring a cookie just to have a look at your site. Now if I buy somethign on line, I will accept a cookie then, but i will not accept a cookie jsut to browse a website. |

The cookies i put through code are required for specific actions on my site. I'm having trouble understanding why my site is setting empty cookies by itself. even with simple html it sets cookies for directories from where content such as images are included |
