Do New Orleans plumbing codes allow the use of PVC and CPVC pipes for
indoor plumbing applications?

What the code allows and what is actually done maybe two different things.

Is the pipe likely to freeze and split open? no So the code may be a
bit relaxed cause it doesn't matter.

Pipe exposed to the sun may rot and splinter.
