I lived in New Delhi during1973-1976.  During that time there was an
exhibition of an Indian woman artist who painted the Himalayas in a
striking contemporary style - very accomplished, stunning canvases. 
The exhibition that I attended was at the American Compound, or school
or something like that.  I know her canvases were hung in official
residences in Bhutan, India, and I would guess Nepal as well.  She was
very well known and respected and would have probably been in her late
30's maybe forties in the mid 70s.  I have tried to google research
this artist with no luck.  Her work has continued to hjaunt me all
these intervening years.  How can I track down this magnificent
artist's work?
