I want to know the total car population in the Caribbean.  

By car I mean any car, truck, van on the road.  
And by Caribbean, I'd like it to include the following countries:

1) Puerto Rico
2) Jamaica
3) Dominican Republic
4) Trinidad & Tobago
5) Bahamas
6) Barbados
7) U.S. Virgin Islands
8) St. Maarten
9) Martinique
10) Aruba

Ideally I'd like the answer to include detail including vehicle
application - like make, model, and year.

A researcher may well be able to find comparable data on the number of
vehicles in each of the countries you listed, such as this graph of
vehicles per 100 population:

However, data on the breakout of makes and models is very tough to
come by...to me, it's not even worth the effort to look for it, given
the amount of effort involved, and the low probability of success.


Let me know if you'd like data like that above for the countries you
listed, as an answer to your question.

If not, what other approach should we consider.
