Very briefly, I had a hair restoration operation by Bosley Medical Group in August 2005. I have never been bald but it was obvious that I was loosing my hair in the front of my head. About 5 months after the surgury everyone including myself was very impressed and could not find any trace of baldness. I even took family pictures and there wasn't even the slightest hint of any potential baldness of any kind. 4 months more has past since the family portraits and I now look more bald than ever before. Obviously I am very upset about this! I have a scar in the back of my head from the surgury so even if I shave my head bald or low the scar is very visible. I would like to take action against what has happen to me but I have no idea how to start a lawsuit or what I can do about this. I've read that the company baits you in for the first surgury then gets you to do a touch-up surgury to get more money from you. There was a show on dateline NBC about the company in 2001 that I just read. |

Sorry to hear about your plight. There seem to be many sites discussing the group and its practices. http://www.bosleymedical.com/ http://www.bosleymedicalviolations.com/ http://www.casp.net/bosley.html http://www.citizen.org/search/index.cfm?RequestTimeout=180 Here is Bosley's website: http://www.bosley.com/hairloss/options.php |

Ditto the sites myoarin listed. You have a choice here. 1.Do you want compensation for your expenses and future expenses related to cosmetic remedies? Or 2.Do you want to compensation AND revenge (for lack of a better term)? Either way, print the pertinent information from those websites, especially the details that they lost a lawsuit trying to stop a disgruntled client's website, the details of advertising expenditures, the quotes from Dateline NBC... buy a new printer cartridge and be prolific. Gather all YOUR personal information: photos, contracts, cancelled checks, brochures they gave you, EVERYTHING that might remotely support your claims. If your decision is 1, take your packet to the personal injury lawyer that does the most advertising in your city. No matter if their ads are about truckers, medical or whatever... the most frequent advertiser, odds are, you won't have to see the second most frequent advertiser. If your decision is 2, you need a guy that participates/initiates in class action lawsuits. He may be a tad more difficult to identify. (If they spend 12 million a year advertising, their pockets are deep enough to attract a class action suit) Post back if you need help finding a class action guy. I know one that did pretty well suing some "Kool dudes". Good luck! |
