I think a great deal about the origin of the universe. Did it really begin with a big bang as the scientists say, or might it instead have been the result of a big sneeze? I ask because I think sneezes are more common than bangs and, moreover, that BIG SNEEZES are thus likely to be more common than BIG BANGS. What do you think? And why? |

Big Bangs are (potentially) much more powerful than Big Sneezes or Big Coughing Fits so (if we are prepared to believe the 'scientists') then a Big Bang seems more likely. However, it's an interesting theory and maybe there was a Big Sneeze as well as a Big Bang. The Big Sneeze sure would have spread a lot of Big Germs around and maybe that was how Fauna and Flora came into being. It makes sense ... I do know several snotty people and have often wondered where they come from. I do hope that you can cope with the Fame and Fortune that will now come your way. Can I be the first to order a marble bust of the Great Captain Lane? |

Maybe it was the Great Flying Spaghetti Monster (http://www.venganza.org/) that sneezed. This would give us a grand unified theory of both creation and the origin of life |

If it was a big sneeze, the person, thing, entity, etc., which sneezed, must pretty big. |

The sneezer wouldn't necessarily have to be that large, just think of the butterfly effect. Perhaps a little man with a little sneeze spun things into existence. Of course sometimes my sneezes are much more powerful and body shaking than I expect and I once even hurt my back during a viscious sneeze, BE CAREFUL OUT THERE! |

Well, if it was a big sneeze, now we have to wait for the coming of the great white handkerchief. |

certain yogic theories suggest that sneezes have much in common with orgasms perhaps you're on to something! in fact I think scientists should just call it The Enormous Ecstacy instead (this is much more romantic, if nothing else) for further notes, see Question ID: 728871 |
