I am trying to find a way to watch Baltimore Oriole games on MLB.com.
My zipcode falls under their blackout region, so it looks like if I
sign up I will not be able to get the game. I think they determine
what region your computer is in by IP address. Is there some sort of
program that will disguise your IP address's location. I've read
about a couple IP address programs such as the-Anonymizer and
The-Cloak.com. Does anyone know if one of these programs will work
for what I am trying to do? If not can you tell me what program will
work? I will give credit to anyone who gives me a way to watch the
games on my computer live. thanks

I wonder if purposely disguising your "identity" in order to obtain
services you would not otherwise be entitled to is legally considered
fraud.

Not if he's fighting discrimination. Anyone anywhere else in the
country can access. Broacast blackouts are an evil and sinister
institution, reaking of corruption.

You'll need a proxy service that can support streaming video at a decent bit rate.
I can't comment on where you could find one or if they will be even
able to give you enough bandwidth to watch the video or if mlb.com
hasn't already taken steps to block the use of known proxies....
But it is possible to do.
