I am looking for information on online community websites.  I am
considering creating a start-up for a golf community website.  I would
like to create a business plan, so I am interested in business models
of successful start-ups of online communities like myspace, facebook,
dogster, linkedin, etc. I would to know if there are any studies/data
that show how quickly the user base ramped up, and associated revenue
from fees or ad revenue.  A comprehensive article or study would be
especially helpful.
