Hi, frenchlaine-ga !

1. Cocoa butter is a frequent ingredient in suntan lotion, so that is
the real link between the two. Nude Beach Tan list their ingredients
at:

http://www.nudebeachtan.com/ingredients.htm

"Cocoa Butter: Obtained from cocoa beans, used as an emollient. Used
in suntan lotions."

The Christian Science Monitor Home Forum for 10 Feb 1998 discusses
making chocolate in an article by John Christian Hoyle:

http://www.csmonitor.com/durable/1998/02/10/home/home.1.html

in which he writes:

"This machine heats the beans. The heat makes the moisture in the bean
expand. The expansion cracks the beans' thin outer shell....

What's left looks like shelled walnuts. These are the "nibs" or the
"meat" of the cacao bean.

Next, the nibs are roasted. Since roasting brings out more of the
chocolate flavor, the details of the roasting process are kept under
wraps.

The roasted nibs go into a grinder. The friction of the huge grinding
machines causes the cocoa butter in the nibs to melt. Cocoa butter is
a vegetable fat that looks like caramel. But don't put any on your ice
cream: It tastes like suntan lotion.

After the the cocoa butter is removed, a thick paste is left. It's
called "chocolate liquor," though there's no alcohol in it - just pure
cocoa and some cocoa butter.
Though it looks like smooth dark chocolate, it tastes very bitter."

Some other, more tenuous links are:

2. They can both be cleaned from Permablock protected vunyl using the
same cleaning methods.

http://www.gulffabrics.com/permablo.htm

"PERMABLOK3® ADVANCED VINYL PROTECTION

PERMABLOK3® from Spradling is a proven vinyl protective coating that's
engineered to create a tough, effective barrier against the the three
biggest problems encountered in healthcare and hospitality
environments. Germs, Abrasion, and Stains. You can't see it. Or feel
it. Yet the protection it offers results in extended performance and
lasting beauty with a minimum of care."

to clean: "Remove excess spill with damp cloth. Clean with 1:1 mix of
Ivory® liquid and water. Rinse with clean water and dry."

3. Gary Hoare has a poem linking the two on his website "Stuff that
happens and the way I see it":

http://www.garyhoare.com

Click on "It's like chocolate" on the left for the poem. Oranges,
socks and memory also come into the poem.

4. "Chocolate" is a hidden keyword designed to be found by robots and
search engines but not visible to the human visitor on the Tanfastic
wholesale tanning lotions site.

http://www.tanfastic.com

In Explorer click on Edit in the top menu, then "find on this page",
type on "chocolate" and the word will highlight. Or leftclick and
highlight the bottom of the page to bring up a list of what I assume
are lotion names, inclucing "hot chocolate" and "chocolate silk".

5. The Village Market and Rotisserie home delivers both products.

6. Both can be purchased in personalized packs for corporate gifts or
fundraising items from:
