Dear Emma, Officially, Cannabis is permitted to be used only for medical reasons; but the usage of personal cannabis has been in fact decriminalised in Spain (not dealing or producing). "Drug use and possession for personal use do not constitute a criminal offence under Spanish law. However, public consumption is penalized with administrative fines." (Drug Policy Alliance: Spain, <http://www.drugpolicy.org/global/drugpolicyby/westerneurop/spain/>).
