What can I do when I did not receive a medical bill for two and one
half years because the hospital supplied my old address. They had my
current address. The doctor was an anestisiologist used for emergency
surgery. All doctors but him used the correct address and were paid.
This doctor put my account in collections. Collections got the correct
address but it mared my credit. I sent a letter telling them I would
pay if they took me out of collections and restored my credit. They
would not respond to my request and added interest to the bill. This
is not right. What can I do?

First, pay the bill.

Then, write to all the Credit Agencies advising them of the error and
request them to correct your record, and confirm.
